Safepoint Insurance Company Licensed to Enter the Louisiana Commercial Lines Market

Tampa, FL (September 29, 2017) – SafePoint Insurance (Safepoint) today announced the Company has been authorized by the Louisiana Department of Insurance to write Commercial Lines business in the state of Louisiana. Initially, Safepoint will assume Commercial Lines policies from Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corporation on December 1, 2017.   The company intends to launch a voluntary Commercial Lines product by the end of 2017 to expand their market presence. The target market is non-habitational “main street” type risks such as offices, retail/service and food and beverage sales.
